After reading the novel about Pio Giorgio I wanted to know more about him. This story written by his sister tells us about his last days. Truly a remarkable young man. God Bless him.

I purchased this book years ago and donated it to our youth group. I really wanted to read it again after seeing all of the happenings of World Youth Day with Pier Gorgio's body transported to Poland. Its a must read for everyone, especially young people.

One of the finest, first hand accounts of the end of the sacrificial life of any saint I have ever read. Despite debilitating pain and suffering, his sanctity triumphs through to the end of his life. His outward concern for the poor and those around him is so poignant as to be nearly beyond belief. This is an absolute MUST READ for every Catholic, especially every young Catholic. As a parent and grandparent, it has someone to offer everyone. You will not be disappointed!
