New Items at Casa Maria

Posted on 18th Oct 2010 @ 3:21 PM

We wanted to share two new arrivals at the Casa Maria Bookstore that we recommend for you and your family to grow in your understanding of the Catholic faith.

  • John Henry Cardinal Newman: In My Own Words is a beautiful book compiled by Brother Lewis Berry, an Oratorian who the Sisters met on their pilgrimage to Rome in 2007. This is a great introduction to the thought and writings of one of the Church's newly Beatified.
  • Christmas Joy is a devotional booklet by Bishop Robert J. Baker, Michael Dubruiel, and Amy Welborn that will help you and your family or prayer group understand and celebrate the Church's season of Christmas with Scriptural readings, prayers, and activity suggestions for each day of Christmas through the feast of the Baptism of the Lord.
  • Life is Worth Living is a written compilation of several episodes of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen's popular television show. His observations and teachings on the Church, people, and the modern world are every bit as relevant today as they were when Archbishop Sheen first broadcast them.
  • Noel is the newest musical release from the singing priestly trio from Ireland. This CD features some of the most celebrated and cherished Christmas carols in solemnly beautiful and stately arrangements.
