Finding Our Spiritual Life in Exodus (CDS) - Fr. Joseph Altenhofen

In his 2024 Retreat, Father Joseph Altenhofen uses the story of Exodus as an allegory for what we experience in our spiritual lives. We, like the ancient Hebrew people, sometimes prefer the comfort of the life of the secular world, and at times forget that we are God's people. As we pursue a more holy life, the secular world repeatedly attempts to draw us back to it. God continually reminds us that he cares for and protects us and that we must trust Him.
