Music and Morality (CDs)
By Father Basil Nortz, ORC
It is somewhat paradoxical that, given the unprecedented availability of music in our times, there is also an unprecedented ignorance of the powerful influence which this art form has upon the soul, forming it either in virtue or in vice. In these conferences, Fr. Basil Nortz considers the relation between the art of music and moral formation. This is a very relevant topic today, especially in the education of youth, who being exposed to a wide variety of music, have no concept of the possible effects of such music on their souls.
This set includes three conferences on three CDs: Music and Moral Formation, Historical Perspective, and What is Wrong with Rock Music?
Just what I was looking for

These conferences will help our teens understand why there are certain types of
music which we do not want them to listen to. I am not done listening, but so far they are excellent. Very thankful a good priest told me about this set.
Great talk informative!
