Saint Thomas Aquinas, a Dominican friar, lived from 1225-1274. Acclaimed for his learned approach to the Catholic faith, the Church declared him the Angelic Doctor of the Church. He is best known for his Summa Theologicae and composing the Mass for the feast of Corpus Christi.
