The Blessed Bartolo Longo
By Gennaro Auletta
Blessed Bartolo Longo, who lived from 1841-1926, was originally a Satanist priest before his profound conversion led him to the Catholic Church and life as a Third Order Dominican. He devoted his life to the Blessed Virgin Mary and propagating devotion to the Holy Rosary. At his beatification in 1980, Pope John Paul II designated him as the "Apostle of the Rosary." This book is a hard-to-find full length biography in English.
