The Spirituality of the Twelve Steps (9 CD Set) - Fr. Emmerich Vogt, OP
This CD set is Father Emmerich Vogt's lecture series given to a live audience. In this series, Fr. Emmerich grounds the Twelve Steps in classical Christian spirituality, while giving examples from every day life. Nine, one-hour disks (the first in the series is a bit longer) in an attractive case.
Not just for 12 steps, but everyone!

This series has so much applicable material for every person's life. How we interact with others, as well as know our own selves. A blessing to be shared!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR DEEPENING OF SPIRITUAL LIFE

I have noticed that those who have worked the Twelve Step Program have a deep spirituality. I have often thought I would like to know more about the steps. While speaking to a Deacon at my parish who passed on some great wisdom to me, he revealed that much of that wisdom had come from Fr Emmerich Vogt's Spirituality of the Twelve Steps CDs . I purchased the set of 9 CDs immediately. I am only on the second one and I already feel myself "letting go" of some if my control issues. I am taking it slow, listening over again to those things that I know I have issues with. I am going to buy Detaching with Love which Fr Emmerich refers to in his talks. I may buy and listen to that and then go back to the Twelve Steps. I feel like I have begun another leg of my spiritual journey and I sense it is going to lead me into an ever deepening love for God ! Thank you for your prompt delivery of my order and for offering such wonderful resources for the journey home!
Fantastic--getting a second set

I have been listening to a borrow set of these CDs for a year and have finally gone an purchased a set for myself. I also want to use them in a parish setting--weekly with coffee/etc.to share with others. Fr. Emmerich makes it all easy to understand and clear and helpful to make the changes Gos inspires in us. Make for a better person or better group if used together. Wish there was a workbook to go with it!
